"Hands" is still one of my favorite projects but it has hardly budged in almost four years -- not because I stopped looking (I'm ALWAYS looking at people's hands) but as projects mature, finding new and "better" images is hard. Since most of the "hands" added since 2013 were unearthed while traveling, I was hopeful that this summer abroad would be more fruitful and so far, so good!

The first two images, found while wandering around Barcelona, show fellow boomers playing friendly (well, sometimes not so friendly) games of dominoes and bocce in a local park. The third image, from a short excursion into France, shows my friend Bene rolling a cigarette as we catch up at an outdoor cafe tucked away in a quiet plaza.
